VerdeGrass About BPA...clearly it is a problem, as so many chemicals are. In the Nov. 7th, 2009 issue of Science News an article agreed that women exposed early in their pregnancies to BPA had BPA in the lower ppm range where as BPA values later than 16 weeks showed no behavior link in children. Meaning higher rates early on could be problematic. Early data from the Warner Babcock Institute points to cash register and credit card receipts as potentially rich sources of BPA. "The biggest (BPA) exposures, in my opinion, will be cash register receipts.", says John Warner. Go figure that one out? Pay cash? * My greatest Question... Why is shipping so expensive? This is not a simple answer. Perhaps we should ask Fedex and the oil companies? For us to send you our VerdeGrass we must use an insulated shipping carton and dry ice to keep the juice frozen. For most shipments in the upper mid-west ground service will work but for the majority of shipments we must use 2nd Day Air Service! If not the juice will thaw and be destroyed. Also realize that there is a trade off here. We are located in the country, creating wonderfully rich, worm laden compost to grow our wheat grass upon. We also have a 160' deep well that provides us with Lake Superior glacial aquifer water. If we were located close to the cities for convenience our water would be chlorinated and fluoridated, do you want that? We would also have the associated air pollution contaminating our soil, do you want that also? Clearly NO. We try our best to keep costs down for us and for you but until Fedex costs go down or those of the oil barons (which won't happen), we do our best for you. Look at it this way: If I were to deliver 1cs of VerdeGrass to Chicago from here in central WI, my travel time is 8+ hours round trip, 450+ road miles and 1 tank+ of gas. Now that cost alone would be, $10/hr, wear and tear on the car and $30 in gas...that equals $110. For that cost we can ship 3cs of VerdeGrass to southern CA or FL without the time loss on my part and other costs involved. You want frozen juice, not thawed and spoiled. You get our fresh VerdeGrass the year around to your door as cost effective as can be. Plus with return of the shipping carton to us, we keep the planet cleaner and reuse then for another day, to another knowledgeable and concerned friend. You are the important factor here, our valued customer and friend...thanks, Tim * Wheat Grass Juice vs. Wheatgrass Juice is there a difference? As with all things these days false misleading information abounds, and here we have another example of this disinformation. Wheat Grass Juice is the extraction of juice from the succulent seedling growth of a young wheat plant, a cereal grain. Wheatgrass Juice does not exist. Wheatgrass is a natural road side grass that grows in Oregon. It clearly is not used for juicing. Capt. Tim * “Green

Poveromo Attention Wheat Grass People: We were informed (02/20/07) that DuPont Chemical is now offering to many wheat grass growers, their new inorganic growing mixture to grow wheat grass upon! So buyers beware of these practices, ask questions! There is simply nothing better than our soil........period! Tim
